Low claims are one measure of the success of a household goods relocation and a tremendous factor in a customer’s satisfaction with their relocation. Each year, Alexander’s Mobility Services recognizes those drivers who outperform our goal of less than $50 in claims per 10,000 pounds hauled, a standard equivalent to less than $50 in damages per average two bedroom home. Singled out for special distinction are the two drivers, one long-haul and one short-haul, who have the lowest claims among the entire fleet.
In 2009, Mike Guest, a contractor with Alexander’s San Diego office, took the short haul award for the second year in a row. Ron Lott, a driver with the Baltimore office, took top honors on the long haul award. As a short-haul driver, Mike’s work keeps him within 500 files of San Diego while Ron drives from coast to coast. In recognition of their conscientious attention to detail and outstanding customer service each of these drivers will receive a well-deserved company-sponsored vacation.
